The heart of the REAP vision is reciprocal relationships.
REAP facilitates the connection of screened businesses in Rwanda with screened business leaders in Australia who are committed to mentoring, knowledge sharing and a long term relationship with an entrepreneur in Rwanda.
The programme includes regular, online face to face meetings, between the Rwandan Business partner and a REAP Mentor - with specific and agreed to outcomes.
REAP also facilitate local business intensive courses run by business specialists. Participants are exposed to basic business principles covering financial management, people management, marketing, strategic planning and technology.
REAP’s focus is on knowledge sharing and relationships. Learning and growth is a two-way street.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Innovators - Entrepreneurs - Hard Workers
Must have set up a small business employing 3 or more employees.
Been in business for a minimum of 12 months
Be a wealth-generating, profit-orientated business
Potential areas - tourism, building, financial service, agriculture, plumbers, electricity, mechanics, cleaning business, real estate, IT, natural resources – e.g. timber.
Target demographics: Rwandan resident, minimum education – completed high school. Self-motivated, committed to personal growth.
Can understand and read English.
